The League of Minnesota Cities (LMC) is seeking member input on its 2025 legislative policy recommendations. The policy recommendations are a product of the League’s policy committee process and guide LMC lobbying efforts. Members are encouraged to review the recommended changes and submit commentary by Oct. 28.

Legislative priorities adopted
The League Board also approved the 2024 legislative priorities on Nov. 9. The priorities will help focus the League’s advocacy efforts during the upcoming legislative session, which begins on Feb. 12.

League policies cover the following areas:
- Improving service delivery.
- Improving local economies.
- Improving fiscal futures.
- Human resources and data practices.
The city policies are crafted with input from over 150 city officials from across the state participating in the League’s four policy committees.
